XGC generated datasets are available for interested users. Please contact C.S. Chang for specific requests (cschang@pppl.gov). A few example datasets which are available:

Blob dataset

Simulation of a tokamak H-mode discharge, in a DIII-D-like geometry, with blob activity in the pedestal/SOL. Dataset used in publication R.M. Churchill, et. al. "Pedestal and edge electrostatic turbulence characteristics from an XGC1 gyrokinetic simulation" Plasma Phys. Control. Fusion 59 (2017) 105014.

Electromagnetic implicit dataset

Simulation data of a fully implicit electromagnetic solver in XGC1. Machine learning solutions are being sought to accelerate convergence of the solver, see attached files below for more information.
